Kelley Koontz, PT, DPT, PRPC

Kelley, a Minnesota native, obtained her Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2018 and her Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science in 2015 from the University of Mary in Bismarck, ND. She got to experience Bozeman in 2015 while on an internship for cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation and fell in love with the area.

Kelley was drawn to the specialty of pelvic health because of its complexity, sensitivity, and deep need for compassionate care for the pelvic floor and conditions associated with it. Many pelvic health conditions are difficult to talk about but she believes that a good listening ear and her super power in empathy are essential to helping patients feel seen and supported.  She has completed extensive continuing education and her Pelvic Rehab Practitioner Certification to deepen her expertise and is especially passionate about helping women - whether runners, lifters, or weekend warriors- stay active and confident in their movement even when managing pelvic floor symptoms or pain. With a background as a group fitness instructor and personal trainer, she brings a strong belief in the power of movement to every session and loves to see clients reach their full potential and realize just how strong and capable they truly are. Her favorite modalities to use in rehab are dumbbells, barbells, and kettlebells.

Outside of the clinic, you can find Kelley out running or hiking the trails of Bozeman, getting into a variety of fitness classes, binge reading, or exploring the amazing state of Montana and traveling with her husband. (Also, Kelley is a huge dog lover, so if you want to chat about your dog, she welcomes it fully.)
